The handy Bacher stone is designed for convenient sharpening of axes, hatchets, machetes, pruning shears and all outdoor, garden and workshop tools. The oval shape of the stone fits comfortably in the hand, making sharpening large tools easy and safe.

The stone is made of corundum and comes in two gradations:
120– repairs a damaged blade (blue)
600– gives the right working sharpness (white)
How do you sharpen an axe on a round Bacher stone?
1. Place the stone in water for a few minutes or use sharpening oil.
2. Hold the axe still, with the blade pointing upwards and move the stone in a circular motion along the edge. Use the lower grit side first, then finish sharpening with the higher grit side.
3. Repeat the same process on the other side of the blade

The cover has a practical snap fastener and solid rivets on the sides. Suitable for belts with a maximum width of 5 cm.
